Closing Your ProPay Account

How do I close my ProPay Payments Account?
You can cancel your ProPay Payments Account in one of two ways:
  1. Contact ProPay Customer Service by calling 866-573-0951 and verify your date of birth, Social Security number, and mailing address. We will then close your account.
  2. Mail a letter that includes the above information and request that your ProPay Payments Account be closed to:

Is there a fee if I decide to cancel my ProPay Payments Account?
There is no fee to cancel your ProPay Payments Account.
 
Will my personal information be removed from ProPay's database?
ProPay is required by its sponsoring financial institutions and the recent Patriot Act to retain such information for a certain period of time.
